Eileen Jones Whyte
A teacher for over 30 years, Eileen Jones-Whyte is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. Her professional, personal and community experiences mean Eileen is a strong advocate of proactive programs to help people to succeed.
Eileen also has a long history of coaching youth in schools and the community. She has donated her time on the Board of Directors of Bernadette McCann House and the Teaching & Learning Centre of Renfrew County. She has volunteered with the Outdoor Education program at Shaw Woods, the local ON Health Coalition, Ratepayers’ Association, the Canadian Ski Patrol among others.
Eileen was a co-founder and coach of the Upper Valley Basketball Association, has assistant coached at the North American Indigenous Games and the Ontario Summer Indigenous Games.
Eileen and her husband, Mark, have lived in Eganville for 19 years. They raised their children, Naomi and Ramsay there. Having experienced the support of her community, Eileen is running for MP to advocate for the people of the Valley.
